I have a Saddlebred (Deanna that would be a *gaited* horse breed)

I know Saddlebreds are shown as gaited horses, but does anyone actually
expect them to rack in an endurance ride? I think of gaited horses as those
that are asked to do their favored gait doing whatever you do. ie: if you
barrel race a paso at a gallop, you aren't using him as a gaited horse.

My saddlebred has a dreamy, ground-covering trot. I don't even know if she
has ever racked.
