Karen,

My husband had a Wintec Endurance saddle for years and he loved it.  It fit
is 16 hand Morgan/Thorobred beautifully. The only reason we don't have it
anymore ist that it went with Mike's horse when he went to a new home. It
did not fit my half arab at all.  Recently we tried the newer version with
the CAIR gullet system on the tiny Arab.  We didn't have the time to change
to the correct gullet, so I didn't really get to see if it would work. It is
still pretty long for the short backed horses.  You would think that a
company making endurance saddles would at least start with one that would
fit Arabs.

The air panels on the new Wintecs seem like a great system.  I would not buy
a used Wintec as they tend to mold to the horse and any problems that the
horse and rider have.
