I don't know about pinto, but a friend had a solid app mare, plain chestnut,
no markings, bred to a plain brown donkey. The result was Hooch, a very loud
leopard app mule. Huge brown spots the size of turkey eggs all over him. I
think there may be a photo of them on www.sidesaddle.org somewhere.
