Re: [RC] Shoeing and TWH - Bill JohnsonHello Karen, We have an 18 year old TWH stallion that has been barefoot for two years. We follow the trimming suggestions found on the yahoo list barefoothorses. My wife has been trimming horse hooves for almost 30 years, and does not approach the walker any differently than our other horses. We are contemplating plastic shoes to make up for hoof loss due to the incredibly abrasive trails that we train on.
