Bonnie,
Somewhere there was a fly mask called a "Guardian".  Not sure if they 
still make them, but they had a different type of eye covering; it sat 
out from the eye a bit.  Not exactly like a goggle but might be able to 
be converted somehow?  I think I saw one in a catalog someplace a while 
back...  (I'm a lot of help, aren't I?)
