Thanks so much to Tom and Kathy for a wonderful ride.  The Pine Tree Ride 
was very well organized and ran smoothly - Even though management was 
swamped by last minute entries (due to monsoon season here in the east). 
The trail was well marked, safe, yet difficult enough to remind you this 
was an endurance ride. We had wonderful experienced vets, a great farrier, 
and Helen kept those P&R girls in line.  Maine is beautiful this time of 
year (snowless)! Did I mention Maine has abundant wildlife?  Adorable 
scurrying chipminks, large bear (I really thought it was a stray steer)and 
who can forget that sweet fuzzy moose. Put this one of your calendar for 
next year!

P.S.  Also a special thanks to Tom for "saving me" from that sweet fuzzy 
moose.  My mare thought it was looking to make a midnight snack out of 
her.  Never been so happy to see headlights!
