Main point is to know what your deficiencies are apt to be, and supplement
according to that, IMO.

I agree.  I think the problem is that few people really do know the regional
deficiencies, or even the very local deficiency variables from one batch of
hay to the next.  We've talked before on RC about the derth of nutrition
training supplied at vet schools, and it can be pretty hard finding a good
source of accurate data sometimes.  I don't believe in 'shotgun nutrition'
for the sake of just feeding another bucket, but think the price of a bag of
Gro n' Win (or the like) is well worth it.
