[RC] Winter coat in June - ll cole

Good evening Ridecampers,
Slipping out of Lurk for some help.I have a 9 y/o mare that hasn't shed her winter coat. She has been blind for the last 5 years due to a viral infection in one eye and a sympathetic reaction in the other. She is currently in foal and otherwise apparently healthy. Her Thyroid test results were normal.
Does anybody have any ideas or experience with something like this? Thanks for your help. Barry Cole.
