Re: [RC] AHAM Ride in Petosky - Need Specifics - Maggie Mieske

Kari,
COME! You won't be sorry!! :) It's a wonderful trail. Challenging but
doable. They have clayed Heartbreak Hill so it's not that deep sand
anymore. This trail (Wolverine) was my first ride. Loved it. Now I manage
the Wolverine. Jim Yell takes great pride in marking a GREAT trail. The
out check is fantastic...nice little running stream, nice open area (which
Jim is currently levelling with permission of the DNR). It's a great ride,
great management and don't worry about the championship thing. Unless you
are competing in it, you won't even realize it's going on!
Look us up...Nelson is the ride farrier and we'll be fairly close to the
main camp area. Big,navy blue gooseneck that says Samaha Arabians.
Miles of smiles,
Maggie
