[RC] AHAM Ride in Petosky - Need Specifics - Kari Hanes

Our plans for Hopkins Creek were foiled this weekend, so I've set my sights on the next one in Petosky. Does anyone have any info they could share? I have the flyer for the basics. We are looking at the 25 LD on Sunday. On the trail it says there is one 25 mile loop with the vet check away from camp, is this what they use for LD or is there a different setup? Also, with this being a Sweepstakes Championship, should us "newbies" just stay home? I don't want to be in the way of the people who are truly competing for an award. We are, and will be, in the just complete mode for quite a while. Any insight you can pass along would be helpful. And it was worth passing up Hopkins Creek, 'cause hubby came home with a 4 horse/living quarters trailer (used, but usable), yeah!!!! No more sleeping in a tent! It just needs to be rewired - our latest weekend project.
