[RC] Mosquito Halt spray - Pat Gluckin

Just in case any of you haven't tried this new spray. It works wonderfully!! A friend and I sprayed our horses with it and headed off for a morning's ride through woods laden with mosquitoes waiting to attack. We were warned by the park people that the mosquito population is very high right now and to cover ourselves with DEET.

We sprayed our horses and rode the trails. Not a single mosquito dined on us or the horses. We could see them swarm around as we tromped past some bushes that stirred them. Nor were we bothered as we rode near their swamping grounds. They would fly around us but never land. I saw two of them land on the side of my friend's horse's hip but they didn't stay long.

We did notice that the spray seemed to work even when the horse's sweated; however, we did notice the mosquitoes getting braver as the hours wore on. Still no mosquito bites on either of us or the horses. If we wanted to go out again after our lunch, we would have sprayed the horses again. So basically this stuff lasted about 4 hours through sweat, dry and more sweat.

This stuff even smells good! >g<
