Re: [RC] fly control - Bill Johnson

Hello Andrea,

We feed free feed our beet pulp to our little herd of 1
stallion, 3 geldings, 3 mares and 3 (2 month old) foals every day. We
add 2-3 cups of food grade DE along with salt and 2 cups of grain to
every 5 gallon bucket of beet pulp. We usually make up 4 of these
buckets to feed.

We saw a dramatic decrease in flys on the piles of manure in the
fields within about 2 weeks.
