[RC] pregancy and riding - KristinSchuma

I just found out that I am pregnant! 8 weeks along. I was wondering if any of you out there were successful in continuing to ride through, at least, the first part of your pregnancy? I have a wonderful 8 year old gelding that is begging for miles and I'm afraid of what I could do to the baby. I don't see my doctor until mid-June so have no advice from him. I don't want to give up competing this year but will if need be. I've already been making plans to go to rides and camp and be a volunteer. Any advice?
