I think you may be asking too much of this filly too soon.  If she has only 
been under saddle again for a week, she needs to get used to balancing the 
load before you ask for collection.  In dressage horses, collection is not 
asked for until about 2nd level I think (not for sure, as I haven't made it 
that far yet) after the horse has lots of skills and many months (usually 
years) under saddle.  The filly needs to learn to handle herself at normal 
gaits and make transitions between gaits before you can expect her to slow 
down.  Going slow is very hard for horses when they are young.  jeri
