AMEN to that. Also, with arthroscopic when they tell you keep off as much as
possible that means all the time. I sat in my recliner chair with ice on my
knee for three days. If I had to get up to go to the bathroom, I would take a
turn through the kitchen for food or coffee, other rooms for whatever else I
needed and back to the chair with the ice and elevation. I was over 50 and
overweight and my knee did not swell one tiny bit. They don't mean to jump up
and down getting "necessary" things. Only get up a few times a day. Take
drugs and watch cable movies if you have them. They saved my sanity. That and
books.........DO WHATEVER EXERCISES THEY TELL YOU OR YOUR RANGE OF MOTION WILL
BE GONE......................mb
