Re: [RC] bitless bridle - rides2far

i have recently begun riding my 8-year-old in a bitless bridle. he is
actually MORE responsive to my legs and seat than he was before. but i'm
still afraid of cantering him quickly

You're wise to be careful. Have you seen their 1/4 page ad in the
new Endurance News? It says, "The Secret is out! In a recent endurance
test over a measured course, canter speed was increased by 12.6%
Why? Our bridle increases stride and liberates breathing"

"Hello?????" Has it occured to these people that we are using head-
gear to *slow* the horse? Heck, if I ride Kaboot with just a neck-rope
I'll bet he'll increase his stride length about 80% and I'll be dead
soon. I just found that ad amusing.
