[RC] [Guest] Gaited horses - Ridecamp Guest

Bruce Weary bweary@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello all you Ridecampers. I have been riding endurance for 18 years or
more, mostly on Arabs and Arab crosses. In recent years, I have been
experimenting with different breeds, and most recently with Tennessee
Walkers. I am just beginning with them, and am somewhat encouraged, but I
would be interested to hear what anyone's experience has been with gaited
horses in endurance riding. The Arabs clearly have a genetic edge, and I am
just looking to finish consistently, so I don't have illusions of blowing
anyone's doors off. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has first
hand experience. Thanks
