[RC] girth loss during competetions???? - Laurie Durgin

how much loss in girth do you all get in a 50 and under? I use a 26" dressage girth and notice it is within 2 holes of the saddle billets.i"d bought it when he was a bit fatter, but on our rides 1.5 hr.plus and 4 poop piles later i am taking it up a hole or two. so i am wondering if i need to get a 24 to have at he ride incase he loses more than that.I have a 22",but it was narrower as not as padded and i wanted to get as much weight distrubution as possible and advoid the elbows on the buckle syndrom.
It will be the Oconee 30 (unless they cancel that one too:{ then you can call me Jonah!)and knowing ga. it will probably be humid and possibly hot(last June ,ga. did an August imitation). laurie the one handed, and rascal who thinks he is getting a vacation
