Re: [RC] [RC] Wet weather riding boots..suggestions?? - Laurie Durgin

Careful, my daugther who works everyday in wet conditions has had some problems with Ariats Performer pro and others that were supposed to be waterproof ,and she followed all the care directions, and returned a couple pairs(over the last 3 years) She goes thru a pair or two every 8-12 months. Still a good boot, but you have to get the top Cobalt to get their best waterproofing(she is trying these out now).

I attended a semi-annual sale at my local tack store, and they had tons of
Ariats. I was surprised and delighted to discover a very comfortable pair
of cold weather riding boots that seemed to be made of some sort of
synthetic that I'm sure would be waterproof. Check with the Ariat website
(I'm sure they must have one) and see if you can locate these boots.
They're ankle-high, just as the Performer is, and were quite comfy. I'm
hard to fit, too, so if they felt good to me, they would probably fit
others.
