[RC] [Guest] ride and tie mount needed! - Ridecamp Guestsandy cheek 2cheeks@xxxxxx A couple of months ago I posted this message, got great response, but THOUGHT we had a horse from the ride manager. Turns out that's not the case. So...here's the drill again: I have two women friends, one from Wyoming and one from CA who really want to do the ride and tie in san jose california on April 26th. Curt Riffle, the ride manager, cancelled the horse he had gotten for them. So we're desperately searching, as plane tickets have been purchased, mucho training has occurred, and they are keen to do it. Sally is a triathlete, very fit, and used to do ride and ties several years ago. Kim is a rider and runner, but has never done ride and tie...both are in their 'distinguished' 50's and are very responsible women. They only want to do the 13 mile course, and only for fun. i know they would take very good care of whatever equine they team with, and of course they will pay whatever lease arrangements owners feel are necessary. I am doing the ride with Julie Barnfather...we were lucky enough to lease a horse as well, but we were really hoping to do it with our friends.
