[RC] MP Loose horses - Rides 2 FarAngie, were the reins all one piece? or did they have a buckle or some breakable part? I believe they had a buckle...maybe Zilcos? But they were hanging the bit right in front of her knees. *After* the horse came to a stop inside the shed with me it seems like the reins just sort of fell off. It's kind of a blur, but she didn't have anything on when I put my arms around her neck. As to April's version of having a halter fastened around the neck that's still tied to a trailer...the halter on the neck thing I believe is fine, but it seems like horses are more likely to pull back and panic if you bridle them while tied fast. Also, the difference in where the pull comes from seems to affect them. I've had horses tied up to eat at a bucket and I decided to move the snap to the cheek piece to keep it from getting hung on the bucket. When the horses felt the pull from there it seemed to upset them so I quit.
