Thank you for a report from the trenches/front lines.   Your info on the
vetting  reassures me that many of the pulls were mostly tough vets rather
than over riding.  And unwillingness to push a horse in extreme conditions
when a top finish is not likely.
It certainly requires different strategy to race in the desert than in the
mountains.     I hope one day there will be a world event somewhere like Big
Horn, Tevis, Old Dominion etc.  Probably not likely.

I'm in Amsterdam on my home to the USA.

What a fantastic experience at the Dubai World Cup.
The staging was like an Olympic Event.
I enjoyed the ride management and the hospitality of Dubai.
It was an incredible experience.
