[RC] Bowed tendons on REAR legs - Jonni Jewell

I had one horse bow on a rear leg. It was the first I had seen in all my
years with horses. Has anyone else dealt with one on the rear? Just
wondering how truly common it was, and results for recovery.

Keep in mind, there are many degrees of bowed tendons. Minor, moderate,
major. My one horse had a major bow on the rear, and he did not heal. I had
a horse with a minor and moderate in the front (yep, both legs at the same
ride) and he recovered fine, and never gave him any trouble. Went on to do
trail riding, and Combined Driving events.
