RE: [RC] Sport Saddle owners - please reply - Whiteaker, SteveI recently attended a seminar where the clinician opined that treeless saddles were probably not a good choice for heavyweight riders. While she didn't define heavyweight, I'm pretty sure she was referring to 185+ lbs. He has asked that I post this to ridecamp. He is a heavyweight rider, 200+ lb. He tried a sport saddle for a short ride and thought it might be easier on his knees than his present saddle. Does anyone have experience w/this saddle who is a HW rider? He is wondering how well the horse handles the weight with this saddle. He is worried about lack of support for the horse.
