Now when we look for your booth this weekend, you'll have that helmet-thing on with all the antennas,and electrodes stickin' out done up properly with ductape and your "my favorite Martian " suit on so we can find you easily ,huh? :}Laurie and Rascal(whose mom was born a 100 years too late, make that 500... I found a really great new toy. A combination HRM and PEDOMETER.
This is small saddle mounted device that picks up the HR using our standard
transmitter and leads.. AND displays DISTANCE and SPEED. It has a walk mode
and a run-trot mode.
You set the stride length of the horse at a walk and a trot.

Has time of day, stopwatch, Hi-Lo alarm, miles, miler hr, nightlight.

ONLY problem is it is NOT fully water proof.
I am working on how to improve that.

Anyway it really did work great after I got it calibrated. I will run a few
tests with the GPS later this week.

I posted the information, pictures etc to my web site..
Of course this will be a 'what's new' special for the AERC Convention next
weekend.

I have also found a source for really sticky - stickon electrodes that can
can be re-used more then one time.  If this works I may have a very
low-cost fix for all the  moveable rubber electrodes problems. I will be
testing them more this week, I have a few styles to test. I will have
samples at the trade show.
