Re: [RC] calling all sports saddle users - Karla Watson

The flap will soften and lay better after you break it in. Putting sheepskin over the whole thing *really* helps too.

Subject: [RC] calling all sports saddle users

I'm trying out a sports saddle, endurance model.  I hate the flap that
covers the rigging!  It's stiff, and it cuts into the top inside part of my
calf.  What have all you other sports saddle owners done about this?  It may
be just because I'm tall that it bothers my leg, but it's also the stiffness
of the flap.  It's also annoying to try to cinch up the saddle with that
thing in the way.  I guess if I owned one, maybe I'd just cut it off.  Or
possibly once the leather gets broken in, it softens?  Any input is
appreciated.

Thanks!

Chris
