Listerine has limited use...in most cases seems to work to kill
bacteria...but alas...also DRIES the skin...Cora

I have used baby oil on the tail and it seemed to work
for the dry skin.

Someone once told me to try listerine mouth wash, but
I haven't tried it.  They said it tingles and makes it
itch less, but I've never tried it myself.  Anyone
else heard of using mouthwash?  Any luck?

I'm having the opposite problem - rain rot!!!  It's
early this year.
