[RC] Dressage saddles for endurance riding - Jonni

there was a reccomendation to use a dressage saddle on horses who had the
saddle slip forward on downhills. The reason being, the sadddle fits behind
the
shoulders and this keeps it place on decents.<<<

Have not really paid attention to how a dressage saddle fits in relation to
the shoulders, but how much would the saddle be pushing INTO the shoulders
on a steep downhill? It makes it sound like the shoulders are what is
keeping the saddle from slipping forward......... Just pondering.....
