Re: RC: Max

One microsecond is the what separates any of us - or our horses - from life or
death. Life is fraigle, it can end in a idoit pulling out to pass and putting us
in his cross hairs. It can end with with our horse spooking and dumping us to an
untimely death. It can end with our horse panicing and dumping both or us to an
untimely death. And folks when a horse panics I don't care how much "John Lyons
or Monty Roberts or name your own high priest" or any other of the the
"religions" he has been exposed to, it is pure instinct, pure fight or flight.

Why - because. I am a mathematical physists by training and by profession. I
look for logic in all situtations. I have been trained to seek the truth. I am
trained in logic and logic holds the answer to nature, BUT. But there are those
which logic is not the answer. Why did my sister die when a drunk had a head on
with her on the highway. Explain that with logic. Why did my father die, way too
young, explain that with logic. Why did my friends die in a war in Viet Nam,
explain that with logic.

The accident with Max was the difference of one microsecond. In one microsecond
a life was lost. Could have been our horse or it could have been us. One
microsecond is a short period of time, one one millionth of a second, but it is
our hold on life.
