Uno de los controles veterinarios se realizara en la explana del Castillo de Gandur. Sevilla, 29 de Marzo.- El Rocío amanecía esta mañana con un contraste de colores, el azul limpio de cielo reflejaba iluminando e incluso haciendo mas blancas aun las paredes de las casas que resplandecian ante el comienzo de otro apasionante dia de Raid. Tras el buen sabor de boca que nos dejo la etapa de ayer con las marismas y la playa de Doñana como telon de fondo, hoy los jinetes han llegado a meta en un Conjunto Arquitectonico de primera orden, el yacimiento de Italica. La tercera etapa del Raid KALIBER 2009 se corrio en dos fases de 33 kilometros cada una. Salieron cuarenta y tres caballos de El Rocío, a las nueve de la manana, camino de Aznalcázar donde estaba instalo el control veterinario intermedio. Aprovechando la fresca mañana, los jinetes pusieron un ritmo alegre, con un grupo de cabeza de casi una docena y media llegando practicamente juntos a Aznalcazar. En el control veterinario los primeros en pasar fueron ERITREA de Iris Janowski, YAMAN-V de Carlos Escavias jr., MASSAR de Jean-Pierre Lerisset y DAMAS-EL-DERKOUCH de Lise Chambost. Camino de Santiponce en la segunda fase, Janowski, Chambost y Lerisset tomaron la cabeza de carrera, con Escavias a poco minutos. En los kilómetros finales Chambost aflojo y Escavias a la tercera posicion, siempre con Janowski y Lerisset unos minutos por delante. Llegando a Santiponce y a la meta final, instalada en el sitio historico de las Ruinas Itálicas, Lerisset y MASSAR ganaron el sprint final delante de Janowski y ERITREA, y Escavias entrando tercero con YAMAN-V, a tres minutos y medio. En el control veterinario final ERITREA no consiguio el visto bueno de los veterinarios, y Escavias paso al segunda puesto, y ganador por binomios. DAMAS-EL-DERKOUCH, que habia entrado cuarto con Chambost, tampoco paso el control final, con lo que el tercer puesto de la etapa paso a Daniel Maldera. montando a NABILE. En la clasificacion general despues de la segunda etapa los extremeños Inigo del Solar, hoy octavo, y Teresa Lozano continuan en cabeza, con las catalanas Emma Rosell, que hoy termino novena, y Maria Capdevila, segundas a dos minutos y cincuenta y ocho segundos, seguidos por los equipos franceses de Jean-Pierre Lerisset y Pierre Chambost terceros y Daniel y Paulette Maldera cuartos. Por binomios Eduardo Sanchez mantiene su primer puesto, mientras que Otto Velez pasa a ser segundo y su hijo Andres se mantiene tercero. CLASIFICACIONES
