Reconditioning rider
Hi All,
I am getting ready to ride my first 3-day 100 in the end of March. Now here's
the kicker. I haven't ridden distance in well over a year!! (pregnancy, baby,
long story) I went on a short ride the other day and it about killed me. I
was sore for 2 days. I am not worried about the horse that I am riding making
it. I am worried about me. He qualified for the championship ride, but his
owner will be riding another horse. That's where I came in.
Any good advice other than a ton of Aleve would be greatly appreciated.
Stacy
