Tom:  I agree that there are many more aspects to endurance than the "rides"
themselves. 90% of my time is spent "conditioning" and that entails some trails
that will curl your horses tail.  We have one trail called "Horse Canyon" that has
since been dubbed "Dead Horse Canyon" because of the wreck that resulted in a
broken leg, a pocket knife, and many attempts later to end the poor beasts'
suffering.

I will carry my gun, thank you very much!      (then beg some one else to pull the
trigger)
