On the other hand, if you've ever seen a traditional Arab saddle, they are interesting and fairly uncomfortable.. The stirrups are set in front many times and the seat is raised quite a bit from the horse's back. We can always tell grooms in Egypt riding horses at a distance because of their chair seat.
