[RC] which saddle to use? - Sharon Hahn

I have a Big Horn endurance with cordura skirts and leather seat.  It was nice to use while training my young horse.  My older horse liked it, too, except that the rigging caused rubs, so if you have a really round barrelled horse, you might have that issue.  I do find that the Big Horn seat is a bit too wide for me - I'm not sure of my saddle terminology, but it might be what people call "wide twist" ?  Not an expensive saddle, so if it doesn't work out, you can pass it on.  Plus, no need for the $150 saddle pad some specialized endurance saddles require - I use a cheapo 1/4" wool pad with it.

My other saddle is an older Collegiate Senior Event, which my horse and I both love.  It's got a VERY flexible spring tree and also keeps my legs in pretty good position.
