Some one horse trailers have only one axle.  The result is a bit less stability, and if a tire blows a lot less stability.
 
They are, obviously, smaller than other trailers thus more chances that a horse will feel claustrophobic and not like them.
 
As only a matter of personal opinion, I would look for a used small two horse, perhaps one that had no divider and was really a miniature stock trailer.
