How would you describe the ideal course/trail for the FEI to choose for a World 
Endurance Championship?

Please include in this description the length of the course, terrain, footing, 
width of trail, location/spacing of vet checks, and whatever else you consider 
important.

...and why?

Alternatively, what shouldn't an "ideal" WEC course be like...and why not?
