Re: [RC] Best Multi-day rides, another HO - richardson . carla

Anyone who likes spectacular scenery and a perfectly-run ride should put Moab Canyonlands Pioneer on their calendar. And, I think it's scheduled just right (sorry, Joe!) ... Any sooner and it would be too hot. ;).

I also love the Grand Canyon XP.

Next on my to-do list is the Big Horn. Wish it was a multi-day!

Subject: [RC] Best Multi-day rides, another HO

One of my favorites was Capitol to Capitol, a 4 day point to point from NV to CA (Sacramento).  Day 1 traversed the spectacular Tahoe Rim trail above Lake Tahoe, and Days 2 and 3 were the Tevis trail.  Barbara, that's too bad about Applegate-Lassen.  With the increasing popularity of multi-days, I'll bet this ride would attract lots of people now!  Also, Kat mentioned that rides out of the same camp can start to look the same......I would have thought so, too, but have been pleasantly surprised at the Owyhee Canyonlands 5 day at Steph's.  The variety of country ridden in these 5 days is truly amazing. And Bryce and Grand Canyon are definitely on my wish list!
