I don't like water bottles carried behind the cantle of my saddle because I 
usually hook my foot onto them as I mount. I have a couple of padded bottle 
carriers that I snap onto the front of the saddle and secure with straps 
under the saddle flap. I bought them from Sportack and I think they are 
called English packs, or something like that.
