If their legs stock up I want to know about it.I think it's just a preference thing and doesn't really matter either way as far as the horses longevity or endurance career is concerned. I think it's one of those things that makes the owner/rider feel good to do it. Not wrapping my horses legs (I never have) sure hasn't shortened their careers or caused them any problems. I use ice boots sometimes. For liniment I've been using aloe gel, under the ice boots. Nearly everything else contains ingredients that are illegal.
