[RC] AHA update, not QHA.. darn stubby fingers! - Lucie Hess

The front runners are in,  it WAS a race to the finish! Meg Sleeper by a nose, then Valerie Kanavy, then Kathy Nuenzig. All 3 horse passsed the final  vet check.

Ozark Country Endurance Members still in the 100,  are   Louise Burton  and Karren Beason. Karren is in the "open" 100 as she didn't enter the AHA 100.
Ocer members who were pulled are Anne McFarland (AHA) and Carl Beason( open).

This is not an easy trail, it is very technical, lot's of twisty, turny, single  track that goes through narrow trees. Lot's of steep but short ups and downs into creek crossings.  The "pink"  loop that was to be used at night is very nice, wide, open and a place where you can pick up and move.  There were other places on the other loops you could just fly down the trail,  but the pink is where you can keep a fairly consistant pace.

Once I know more, I'll post again. Best Condition judging  tomorrow in the Am, awards to be given tomorrow night.

For the 100, 50 and the 2 day CTR horses, the Champion, the Reserve Champion and BC horses are invited to go to the Arabian Nationals in Tulsa (about an hour and 1/2 from here)  on Friday night to be presented in the arena with the other Champions of the National Show... Kind of a  big deal!
