  At a time in our society when many people run from responsibility, 
are terrified of looking bad, and seek to feed their egos, April's
story is a breath of fresh air. It contains all the classic elements of 
a story with a moral, and she is not afraid to reveal her mistakes, the
lessons she learned from them, and her commitment to changing her ways 
for the better, and for the safety of her horse.
Every AERC member, especially new members, should read it, more than 
once, and possibly before each ride they enter. Just
