[RC] How do you call it a day? - Susan Cushing - sherman

Title: Message
No, there is not a specified time you need to wait before competing again. In the case of a colic, dehydration or tie-up, it does take the horse 2-4 weeks,  or even longer depending on the severity of the problem, to fully recover. Some other countries do have a specified time that the horse is not allowed to compete after a metabolic pull. It was talked about on ridecamp so that's probably what you remember.

2. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time to compete if I was pulled for metabolics.  I think I had heard something about this on ridecamp.
