[RC] qualifying for NC - Melissa Margetts

*Kat*, AERC is always recording and updating a riders mileage as ride results come in. The ride you completed last week isn't recorded that SAME day on the AERC "rider record" website and may take weeks and sometimes a couple of months to show up on your website record but your updated miles can be confirmed through the RM & AERC. If said rider has completed the miles prior to the NC's and those miles are confirmed, then you ARE "qualified". But even if you had NOT completed those miles, you are still able to sponsor a Junior rider just for mileage and completion. Below is what you must have missed on the National Championship website:

"NOT QUALIFIED? STILL WANT TO RIDE? HERE'S YOUR CHANCE!
You may ride as an "Unqualified Rider" if you are willing to sponsor a Junior rider. You will earn AERC mileage credit only upon completion. Contact Centella Tucker, <http://patriotsdayride.com/centella@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Ride Manager, for more information."

*ALSO Kat, as confirmation: *This is the letter from Centella to us about this:
"We do not have a junior looking for a sponsor at the moment. If your friend wants to ride but does not meet the championship qualifications, she may ride for miles only (and completion award) if she is WILLING to sponsor a junior and states that on her application. Then if she is here and a junior needs a sponsor or loses a sponsor during the ride, she might be asked to fill in. [It is a way to ride without competing for the top prizes.] "

Horoscope for my birthday today:
Make this day better than yesterday. Plan well for a trip that is coming up.
ALWAYS stay away from toxic people who are continually trying to "stir the pot."
