[RC] holds on BH 100 and Tevis - Barbara White

The Tevis feels as if it has many stops because it does.  There are a trot by and two one hour stops.  The first one hour stop also has an exit exam.  Additionally, there are six Gate and Go stops.  These are full exams with the exception that not all do a CRI.  Although there is not a mandatory hold at the Gate and Go checks, they do eat up a lot of the 24 hours.  Each one offers feed and water, food for riders, and sometimes vet lines...  The savvy rider figures out how to get through those in as quickly as possible because it is easy, and tempting, to waste time at these oases.
