[RC] Tie or Not Tie in Trailer -- Traveling with head very low - Valerie Nicoson

I know this has been discussed numerous times but not sure if the following issue was ever addressed.? So I'm curious what the experienced folks have to say:

One of my horses likes to travel with his nose down to his knees or lower, or at least we sure think so.? Everytime we have hauled him when he's not been tied, when we went to check on him his head is way down, oftentimes below the hay manger.? Since I don't feel comfortable with his traveling with his head that low I've gone to tying him so he can't lower his head quite so low.? How do others feel about this??? Should I be tying him to keep his head up within reason, or let him travel with his head that low.?

Both of my other horses travel good without having to be tied.? One stays where I put her and the other will attempt to turn around if there is room.

Thanks in advance,
Val
