[RC] Tevis / Bighorn - Jonni

For many who ride Tevis, it is easier for them to get to the ride, as the highest number of entries are from CA. I think the fact it is the "granddaddy of them all", and has been running for so many years also gives it that need by some to take the challenge. More articles and press are about Tevis, than I'd guess any other ride. First endurance ride I heard about was Tevis when I was a kid, reading Western Horseman magazine with the Fitzgerald's in it. Many ride Tevis, who do not have a desire to try any other 100. They don't ride it to ride a 100, they ride it to ride TEVIS. Bighorn is on my list, but do have some reservations because of the fewer number of riders on the trail, and fears of getting lost. although when I heard the course was on GPS, and I could download it into mine, THAT really made it sound much more doable.
