I do believe that is what I said in my post...I have a great barefoot trimmer... and great farrier could have accomplisted the same thing..

Barefoot was not the issue.  Proper trimming is the issue.  You can mess up angles and toes with or without shoes.  Your barefoot trimmer just knows how to trim.
