It is only Tums Dual Action that contains famotidine.? Regular Tums does not.? 
It is pretty much just flavored & colored calcium carbonate.

Here is the ingredient list for Regular Tums:

Fruit Flavored:
Calcium carbonate, sorbitol, acacia, natural and artificial flavors, calcium 
stearate, adipic acid Sucrose, calcium carbonate, corn starch, talc, mineral 
oil, natural and artificial flavors, adipic acid, sodium polyphosphate, red 40 
lake, yellow 6 lake, yellow 5 (tartrazine) lake, blue 1 lake. 

Pepermint Flavored:
Sucrose, calcium carbonate, corn starch, talc, mineral oil, natural flavors, 
sodium polyphosphate.

p.s.? I make no comment with respect to what variety of Tums may or may not 
have been given to any horse at Tevis.??I haven't a clue about that.
