[RC] Tevis Forum: More than one 19 year old has top 10'd Tevis - Judy Houle
Phoenix Affair is not the only 19 year old who has top tenned Tevis. He is touted as the oldest horse to top ten Tevis in the latest issue of The Tevis Forum. My horse Shatir was 9th in '94 at age 19 on his and my tenth ride. This was his idea, not mine, as I was just trying to finish and get my 1000 mile buckle. He is still doing fine at age 34 and I still ride him occasionally.
