[RC] trailer safety & wasps - Lynn White

Don't forget to check for wasp nests if you have left your trailer idle for a
while in the summer. Wasps will build a nest in any cavity, and it only takes
one wasp sting to make a horse go berserk in a trailer.

Best time to check for nests is the hottest part of the day when they are the
most active. All you have to do is knock around the trailer and they will come
out. Best time to kill the critters is in the evening when it's cooling down.

To kill wasps without using expensive poisons, mix one part Dawn liquid
detergent to two parts water. Place in a spray bottle and keep it in your
trailer. If you are like me and do endurance on a shoestring you can use this
to wash camp dishes too.
